Mission's Work

I graduate in one month! So what is happening after that? Well, I am leaving on a gap year of missions! While that is awesome, it is going to change things for this blog and the email list. Thus, here is a quick summary of what the next year is going to look like and how it will affect things.

SUMMER: This summer I am leaving to serve at a Bible camp. I have been going here as a camper for years, and I am so excited to spend my whole summer serving there! If you are willing to pray for me this summer, it would mean the world to me!

FALL – SPRING: After I get home in August from serving at the Bible camp, I have one month before I leave again to do a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) DTS (Discipleship Training School). The DTS is split into two sections. For the first half, I will be getting trained in missions, strengthened in faith, and doing local evangelism. For the second half, I am getting sent overseas to put it into practice.

Overall, this coming year is going to be awesome, and I am counting down the days till I get to go spread the Gospel. However, during missions, I won’t be able to send out as many emails or post as often on my blog, or, at least, it won’t be as consistent. After this, I plan to return to school. When I do, I am hoping to begin taking my writing more seriously and publish more often.

Anyway, I am planning to make a mission’s newsletter so that I can keep those who are interested updated. But at the moment I am just hoping for prayer as I move forward!
