I haven't had much time to read lately, hence I'm combining this month and last month. Let me know in the comments if you enjoy posts like this and how I can improve these. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green: If you live under a bridge and don't already know, this is the story of two teens, who are both in a battle with cancer. They learn to find peace in each other and in their place in life. Of course, this is a tragedy, so you watch them hold each other to the end.
Content Warnings: Suggestive comments, open-door spice (I skipped this, so I don't know how spicy it got), cussing

The Stolen Heir by Holly Black: After Jude became Queen of Elfhame, Suren became an outcast, and the only one who can destroy the rising threat. Her mother. But after living under that monster's thumb for so long, she wants nothing more than to run back to the family she was taken from. A life where she believed she was human.
Content Warnings: Suggestive comments, cussing, abuse, mild gore, homosexual couple, alcohol consumption

The Prisoner's Throne by Holly Black: Following the story of The Stolen Heir, Prince Oak watches as the fae he has fallen in love with begins to fall apart. What began as a small tear quickly reveals itself to be enough to kill her. Well, it will if his sister doesn't do it first.
Content Warnings: Suggestive comments, cussing, implied spice, mild gore, abuse, homosexual couple, alcohol consumption

How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by Holly Black: High King Cardan is best known for because cruel, ridiculous, and drunk. For those who follow The Cruel Prince series, this novella offers answers to his past.

Spice Level: 🌶️

Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig: Following the story started in One Dark Window, Elspeth has been consumed by the Nightmare in her mind. He has her body and wants nothing more than to murder those who once slaughtered him and his family. While he goes on a journey of revenge, Prince Elm is forced to assume the throne now that his brother has been ripped to pieces.
Content Warnings: Gore, severe cussing, communing with the dead, possession, open-door spice (I skipped this, so I don't know how spicy it got), abuse, alcohol consumption

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern: Two magicians decide to put their teaching styles to the test. They each choose a child to train, and set them up in a duel. But the tides turn when these children meet, and become friends. Only to discover, that in order to be free of the bondage their mentors placed them under, one of them has to die.
